Export Business

Our company was founded in 1925 and our first exports of butter to the United Kingdom began in the 1940’s. From that moment on, our exports started to grow depending on the internal and international context, always with the aim of expanding our business relationships with the world. This, among others, has driven us to grow and develop.

 In our export beginnings, the volumes corresponded mainly to commodities such as milk powder and butter. Later on, products with a higher added value such as hard and semi-hard cheese were incorporated to the export portfolio. In 1994, the Whey Protein Concentrate and Lactose Plant was built; being the first in Latin America and marking a milestone for the region, thus incorporating these products into our already robust exportable offer.

We currently export a wide variety of products classified into three large groups: Retail, Food Service and Ingredients. Our export mix is approximately made up of: 45% Cheese, 35% Lactose and whey protein concentrate and 20% milk powder; being our main export destinations, some countries in South America, Africa and Asia.
